All parts used on Obara’s transformer and its accessories are carefully selected for superior durability. It is also equipped with a thermostat to prevent overheating when there is not sufficient amount of cooling water.

DC PortableTransformers

In comparison with the AC equivalent, DC transformer requires 20-40% less maximum voltage. Its power factor is also 90% better than the AC system, reducing the consumption of electricity. DC Transformer’s high thermal efficiency is suitable for thick panels and non-ferrous metals, which are often difficult to weld with conventional AC system. DC Transformers also benefit from low magnetic influence and reduced kicks on the secondary cables.
