Obara Australia was established in October 2003, formally trading as an agent for Obara Corp for over 20 years. Located in Hallam, Victoria, our premises are located in the South Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne – Approx. 40Km’s from the City Centre.
Obara Australia is a subsidiary of Obara Corporation, a Japanese company with branch offices, agencies, and manufacturing facilities which operate throughout the world. As part of the Obara group we service both Australia and New Zealand and have been doing so for over 20 years.
Obara Corporation has facilities throughout the world providing equipment, parts and support to their many customers. Obara Australia Pty Ltd provide local support assisting many Australasian companies with their welding and metal joining and fabrication requirements.
In addition we also represent Emhart Technologies a German manufacturer of stud welding equipment and Coral anti-pollution, an Italian manufacturer of Dust and Fume extraction systems.
